Two routes. One ambition.

Secured or unsecured? Start with the difference.

Collateral changes how a loan is assessed. It does not remove the need for a sustainable repayment plan.

Secured loan

With lender-approved collateral

Security
Backed by an asset accepted by the lender, such as eligible property or a fixed deposit.
Assessment
Academic profile, course, co-borrower credit and income, plus title checks and collateral valuation.
Amount & pricing
Collateral can support a larger eligible amount or different pricing; it does not guarantee approval.
Preparation
Additional property or deposit documents and legal/valuation checks may add time and costs.
Repayment risk
Missed payments can affect both borrowers’ credit, and the pledged asset may be at risk.
Explore secured options

Unsecured loan

Without pledged collateral

Security
No pledged collateral. A co-borrower and evidence of repayment capacity are still usually required.
Assessment
Academic record, institution and course, employment prospects, co-borrower income and credit history.
Amount & pricing
Limits and rates depend on the lender’s approved courses, institutions and borrower profile.
Preparation
No property valuation stage, but income, credit and academic verification still apply.
Repayment risk
The debt remains repayable. Missed payments can affect both borrowers’ credit and trigger recovery action.
Explore unsecured options

*Up to ₹1.5 Cr (₹150 lakh) is an indicative funding ceiling for eligible profiles—not a guaranteed sanction or an amount available from every lender or product. The final amount, rate, margin, collateral and disbursement depend on the lender, course, institution, repayment capacity and credit assessment. Edubridge provides assistance, not lending or approval.

Beyond the tuition fee

Plan the full cost of your education

Coverage differs by lender and product. Expenses must normally be connected to the course and supported by the approved budget or evidence.

Tuition & academic fees

Eligible tuition, examination, library and laboratory charges.

Accommodation & living

Lender-approved hostel, rent and living-cost budgets.

Travel & insurance

Eligible overseas travel, required insurance and related costs.

Books & equipment

Approved books, study materials and necessary equipment or laptop.

Ask for the full cost

Request the Key Facts Statement (KFS), annual percentage rate (APR), fee schedule and repayment schedule. Compare processing, legal/valuation, insurance, foreign-remittance, late-payment and prepayment terms where applicable. Ask which charges are optional, refundable or included in APR.

Understand the repayment start

A moratorium usually postpones full EMIs—not interest. Confirm study-period payments, interest capitalisation, margin contribution, variable-rate changes and the first EMI date before accepting the offer.

From funding plan to disbursement

  1. 01

    Build the study budget

Map course fees and living costs, then subtract confirmed scholarships and your own contribution.

  2. 02

    Compare written terms

Review eligibility, collateral, APR, margin, charges and repayment conditions—not only the interest-rate headline.

  3. 03

    Complete lender assessment

Submit documents through verified channels. The lender carries out credit, income, academic and any collateral checks.

  4. 04

    Sanction, then disbursement

Read the sanction letter, meet the conditions and confirm when and how each instalment is released.
